Good question – I am at work usually for 8 hours a day, but do work at home and in the evenings and weekends, so it is probably more like 9-10 hours a day on average.
It depends on the type of day. It can be anywhere from 6 hours to 12 hours. I am doing a PhD so means im still a student so I need to get some results so sometimes I work longer hours. But you dont have to do crazy hours to get good results most the time.
you can have pretty much a 8-5 schedule and get everythin done…sometimes though, some special experiments need more time and we tend to stay longer at work 🙂
