      To see the moon:
      1) the sun needs to be shining on it
      2) it needs to be in a part of the sky you can see
      3) that part of the sky needs to be not-too-bright so you can make out the moon

if those conditions are met, you can see the moon in the daytime

When we see the moon just generally it is because light is reflecting from the moon from the Sun. Usually you will see the Moon when it is a clear day where there aren’t lots and lots of clouds. Because the moon is rotating around the Earth, it will always be there, it will just depend on the conditions of the day if we can see it. I find it really cool when we can see the Sun and Moon at the same time!
