• Question: Why can't chickens fly?

      There are a few reasona chicken might not fly:

      1) it’s wings have been clipped to stop it flying away
      2) it’s ill
      3) it’s too fat and unfit because it has lived in a barn it’s whole life

      But normal chickens can fly.

      Chickens can fly usually! There are different reasons for why they can’t fly though. Like what Jimmy said 🙂

      I guess, it is generally due to the fact that they have been kept at cages all their lives. If not though, they can fly, a bit…
      Not as much as normal birds though, it might have to do with their life style 🙂
      Like laying eggs and sitting on their bottom all day long 🙂
