• Question: Are planets the same when they are born to when they are grown up?

      No, they are very hot when they form and cool down over time.

      I think this is one of my favorite questions, I love the idea of a grown up planet! The universe is always changing. Comets and planets around the universe are always colliding with each other and impacting what each one does. So even after the planet has cooled down, it can change shape by being smashed up, or sucked into black holes, or simply change the atmosphere that is surrounding it over time as some gasses float off!

      No, I think initially they can be very hot and over time they tend to cool down:)
