I love my work. It changes all the time depending on if things are working or not. I am always problem solving and pushing the boundaries of what can be done. I love doing experiments and even more so when you don’t know what the outcome will be. Its a lot of fun.
I do now, but I haven’t always. A lot depends on whether the project you’re working on is successful… and sometimes that comes down to luck, or other people. My last job was not as much fun as this one.
Absolutely love it. It is great to meet families, get to know them, talk to them and understand their story and then try and help them out and their children. It is a very rewarding but also sometimes challenging experience. It is hard sometimes to see some children with genetic syndromes struggle and have difficulties. It makes me remember why I do what I do though, and makes me want to help out even more.
