• Question: Does the sun get hotter everyday?

      This is actually hard to answer, there are a couple of studies looking at the sun and if its getting hotter. There are daily fluctuation both up and down but these arent very big. The overall trend is that there are more solar spots (a type of activity on the suns surface) but this does not mean that the sun has in fact got hotter.

      Hmmm good questions. I think the best thing to say is, is that we don’t know really! We aren’t 100% sure! It is definitely something which is interesting and can be looked at more!!!

      I remember reading about scientists worrying about Sun not being hot enough but it is hard to tell. It is hot enough for now 🙂 As long as we don’t damage the atmosphere and the Ozone layer, we should be good ??????

      The sun’s temperature changes. This has a direct impact on us here on Earth. We can estimate what the temperature was on Earth over millions of years, and this is mostly due to the sun. It goes up and down and up and down….
