every experiment… I question why I’m doing it, whether I’m doing it right, whether there might be a better way of doing it, what I’m expecting the results to be, what the other possible results are…

      scientists are always questioning everything

I think its very important to question yourself for examples- why are you doing this? what are you expecting? what could you change to make it better next time? if it didnt work why not? If you dont question yourself then you never get any further, you just get stuck with what you have. I question myself as to why I am doing something a lot – sometimes the special glass I am using is hundreds of pounds so I need to have a good reason as to why I am doing this particular experiment.

Himm, so many times…It is good though, questioning yourself helps you perfect your experimental design!

All the time. You have to always question what you are doing. However confident you are. You always have to question why and what you are doing. It is really important to make sure you know what is going on!!
