I heard about imascientist from a colleague. So I applied. I just told them what my background is and what kind of science I do. I was invited to do the “spectroscopy” zone last year, but I turned it down, because I don’t know enough about spectroscopy. So this year they offered me a place in the Gold zone, and I said yes, because it’s general science and can be any questions at all!

And the quetsions have been excellent… which makes me feel great 🙂

I heard about this through a friend in the lab who said they thought I would enjoy it. I do a lot of things in schools and festivals trying to show everyone in the community the kind of science I do- I do this mainly through Lego acting like atoms, its a good day out of the lab, so I thought I could do this.

Its been great being part of it. Curing the live chats I dont think my fingers can keep up, and there is a lot of space chat which I had to brush up on a little but have loved them all and you guys have come out with some great questions from how tall am I too in depth ones about my science work, I’ve really had fun.

I read about it on a website initially and a friend of mine mentioned it to me as well and I applied 🙂

I read about it on an email!! I was so so excited that I got onto the website. I was really happy to be able to talk to all of you guys and hopefully encourage you all to get involved in science. I hope at least some of you do more and more science!!
