Take it one step and (later equations) at a time. They all link into each but if you try and look at the big picture too soon you’ll get confused. Physics can be hard but if you have some simple maths and keep trying you’ll get there in the end. Good luck and try and have fun (trust me it can be done!)

Waves and physics is easy if you understand maths. Maths is hard. But by the time you reach the end of secondary school you’ll know enough maths to understand waves, and a lot of physics.

Also, experiments really help you understand things I think. If you can do experiments on pendulums and that kind of thing … that really helped me.

Sometimes it can be hard to understand certain subjects.
Having good examples is always helpful. I remember watching a video where they show sound waves using a fine dust on a table and they would all shake in the shape of sound waves. That was so cool!
I think the video was similar to this one:) https://youtu.be/GtiSCBXbHAg

So sometimes, going to youtube or internet for some interactive videos or pictures can teach you much more than 10 pages of a book. try it:)

It is really hard to work out all the waves and especially physics. I did it my using a slinky. I got my friend to stand a couple of metres from me and hold the other end of the slinky. We then moved it up and down, side to side, and really high in the air. Then we could see that by putting different energy into moving the slinky, lots of different patterns form.

By careful study. Often when you see a new concept it is difficult to understand, but by reading more about it and discussing it with others over time it becomes easier to understand. Waves are not so complicated once you understand the basic idea and much of physics is like this!
