• Question: In the bath or shower why do our hands go wrinkly?

      Because your skin is not completely waterproof and starts to absorb some of the water… which causes it to spread out bigger, but there’s nowhere for it to go, so it wrinkles up in the one place.

      If we are there for a long long time, what happens as our bodies absorb some water! All our skin is covered in a little bit of oil. Its supposed to be there!! It makes us a bit waterproof. Staying in water for too long makes the oil was away. It makes us less waterproof and by doing so, the water can go into our skin and too much much as go all wrinkly!!
