Question: What can cod liver oil capsules do to people with arthuritis ?

Arthritis is a type of disease where joints swell up and it hurts a lot. About 10 million people in the UK have arthritis. There are different types of arthritis too. Cod liver oil might help in reducing the swelling and the pain of joints. Cod live oil capsules contain vitamin D which helps for good bones.

Peopl think that the oil helps lubricate the joints… but in fact some special oils available in cod liver oil may help to moderate the inflammation in the body that is casuing the arthritis (in for example rheumatoid arthritis). But if you really want a balanced intake of these oils, then you need to take flax oil and sunflower oil too, and you’re probably better off eating oily fish than taking cod liver oil.

We were reading a books called skellig in class and we found out that cod liver oil can help arthritis.
