Geography was my best subject! I loved it! I learnt about volcanoes and earthquakes, rivers as well as humans and how and where people live in cities. I went on field trips to London and Wales to look at the inner city living and to look at rivers. I absolutely loved it and really enjoy human geography, studying where human lived and why. Studying how humans shop and why they make decisions.

🙂 I was not a fan of geography back in school. 🙂 We had to do lots of memorization! which crops grow where, which river starts exactly where and things like that…

I love it now! I love looking at the map of the world and talking to my colleagues about different countries, their borders, the history, the culture and the politics…
Now, it would be fun to study geography because we have lots of visual aid, internet, documentaries and the people from those countries in the same work place!! We always tell each other about our own countries and it is such a fun topic. Mostly we talk about food!!! 🙂

I colored a lot of maps, thats pretty much all I remember. I liked it sometimes, but I didn’t really like my teacher. My favorite bit was always looking at how rivers form and then towns form around that, I thought that was really interesting.

The best thing we did in geography was when we went on a field trip along the length of a river… the River Holford in the Quantock Hills in Somerset, from source to mouth. We took measurements of width, depth, flow-rate, and calculated how much water was passing each point.

It was a really great day.
