      Having to do lots and lots of maths! I find it difficult!

      Making sense of the data that comes out of the mass spectrometer, because there’s no software to do it , so I have to write the software.

      I think sometimes its really difficult to comeup with new ideas to some problems when you think youve tried everything. In science there are a lot of challenges and sometimes the answer isnt always obvious, but with my team we talk through it and eventually we get there.

      I find it very difficult, if I keep getting negative results for a long time and longing for one tiny bit of positive data:)
