My most successful tiny structure was a wire that I made that was 10 nanometer wide thats 1000 00 times smaller then a millimeter. We did it by making a kind of stencil first and then we filled it with gold. There are lots of challenges when you work this small such as things not getting into gaps, the shapes dont quite come out right or simply the stencil doesn’t come off after- but in the end we made it.
