A black hole is something very dense.

Dense means there’s lots of matter squashed together very tightly.

All matter has a gravitational pull. But gravitation is very weak… it takes the whole Earth to make the gravity we feel.

But a black hole has so much concentrated matter that the gravity is very strong…. so strong that even light can’t escape! (that’s why it’s black)

So at the bottom of a black hole is concentrated matter and energy that has been trapped by the gravity of the black hole.

OHHH. More darkness…more black holes!! A black hole is black because there is no light in it! There is a lot of energy in black holes. Unfortunately we will never be able to go into a black hole though, we wouldn’t be able to get out!!!

Nobody knows for sure. Because what goes in, doesn’t come out in black holes:)
