I have two boys, Finlay and Louis. Finlay is nearly 3 and louise is not 1 yet. I will help them with their school science, and answer any questinos they have, but I won’t force them to do science. They can make their own minds up what their favourite topics are.

When (and if) my kids have kids, then I’ll be a grandfather and the same goes for my grandkids… I’ll teach them if they’re interested. Although it’s also then up to my kids whether they want me to teach their kids….

      This is getting confusuing!

I have a daughter who is almost 6 years old and a son who is 3 years old.

My daughter is already asking me lots of questions about cancer cells, planets, dinosaurs, brains, organs anything they learn at school, really. We have a big encyclopedia, sometimes we will look at pictures and talk about them. We always have such wonderful conversations and she is so proud of me…As long as she is interested, I will teach her all that I know and encourage her to learn more.

My son is still a bit young but same will apply to him. Grandchildren as well, as long as their parents are happy for me to teach them science, I say why not 🙂

When I have children I will DEFINITELY teach them all about science. I don’t have children at the moment but it is a very exciting thing to think that I will be able to talk them all about science!! Hopefully they will want to listen!!
