Question: why is it that when we are walking on the streets at night,why does it look like the moon is following us?

Actually it only appears to be moving as it is always the same place and everything else moves. When we move around the earth we are use to things appearing for example further away or to the right or to the left of us. However, the moon is always at the same place, which lets it look like it is moving to follow us, but it’s just an illusion of course.
